Google To Get Real Time Search Soon
Every time when Google releases a new product, service, or anything else, we know it's going to be a quality product because it is coming from a company who has a great name. In today's world of search engines, people strive on having the latest and greatest search results; one of the ways to accomplish this vigorous task is to make it so that all of your search results are live and in real time.
Some services like Collecta provide these types of services. The only problem I see with these types of searches is that they're not going to be very mobile friendly; I mean, they are really not going to be suited for phones, PDA's, smartphones, and everything else in the mobile world.
Today, Google posted a video onto their YouTube account showing the world about their real time search. With their real time search, they seem to be focusing on social mini-blogging networks like Twitter. The only problem I see with that is that if they're only getting their real time searches from Twitter, what's the point? I honestly do not want to see Twitter statuses; I want to see blog posts, news articles, and things in that respect. Twitter would be nice to have in their, but so many people are tweeting every second! The results would be tremendous if Google tried to download all of this, especially if it's a popular #hash.
Google says that they'll be releasing this new feature to Google within the next few days. I would personally like to see this feature expanded upon in the aspects of getting the latest news without using social mini-blogging networks like Twitter.
What are your thoughts on Google finally making their search a little ahead in the future? For me, I do think it will pay off in time; we will just have to wait and see.
