Review: Bounce On for the iPhone / iPod Touch
Bounce On by Team Phobic for the iPhone / iPod Touch is such a fun game, it’s hard to describe. Basically, the goal in Bounce On is to navigate a moving red ball around your enemies and navigate yourself away from the falls and treacherous levels.
Bounce On 4.0
Reviewed on a iPod Touch 1G
The main interface of Bounce on is pretty simple. The graphics in Bounce On are incredible. The thing is, in Bounce On, there’s no way to adjust any settings. And if you are playing any music, Bounce On turns your music off and switches it to their own. But actually, in Bounce On, it isn’t so bad. The music in Bounce on is very nice and for sure enjoyable by anyone. Just to say this right now, I have no completed the whole game.
In total, there’s four worlds you may play. In these worlds, there are many levels and sublevels for hours on end. As you progress in the game, it for sure gets a lot harder. Personally, I love how they set up their level structure. You have endless says of excitement with this game. The things is, you actually have to try to beat it! it’s for sure a fun one!
In Bounce On, you only have three level slots for you to save your game. This is a type of game where you don’t want to be the only one who will be playing it. You’ll want to pass your iPhone / iPod Touch over to your friends, family, and maybe even children, and let them enjoy the action in Bounce On. It’s for sure a game that’ll keep you addicted.
To the left, all of the circles you see are the sublevels. When you get to the door, you have completed a new level. In the very beginning of the game, it walks you through how to play Bounce On and also what happened to the red ball. The cool thing is, when you want to go through a new level, all you have to do is tilt the device using your accelerometer. Your accelerometer is a key part in Bounce On, it’s how you navigate around.
In Bounce On, your enemies are the ones who will be blocking your path. You enemies can be running towards you, not moving at all, and even following you! Throughout the game, your goal is to collect the gems. If you don’t collect all the gems, you won’t get the medals you can win. You are timed throughout playing Bounce On, so you would want to act quickly!
The stars are you most important things you should be looking out for. When you get to a star, you progress in the game will be saved. But if you run out of lifes, you will have to restart the sublevel.
As you progress through Bounce On, you will have to go through many obstacles that will take you more than one try. Here’s an example on what you may come up against.
And like always, stay away from spiky enemies! The will hurt you!
The cannon represents two things in Bounce On, a landmark for when your level is over, and also to shoot you long distances.
