Panasonic's 3D Technology is an Award Winner

With this day in age of being so reliant on all of these 3D technologies, it's without a doubt Panasonic made their 3D technology with evolution in mind. Just yesterday, the International 3D Society (who knew there was such a thing?) announced that Panasonic will be receiving their honorable Lumiere Wheatstone Award on October 19 at the 3D Technology Awards in Los Angeles.

Jim Chabin, the International 3D Society President, noted that:

for serving as James Cameron’s technology partner for “Avatar,” to first developing Full HD 3D plasma home entertainment in 2008, to establishing the Advanced Authoring Center within Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory for collaboration with the industry on development of 3D Blu-ray in 2009, Panasonic has been a vital partner for 3D advocates.  The Wheatstone award is the Society’s opportunity to recognize that effort.

That's one rather large achievement for Panasonic, and if you've ever seen Avatar in 3D, I've heard that it's extremely realistic. And you know what, we can thank part of that on Panasonic's amazing technology!

For all of their work on 3D Blu-ray technology, development of the Full HD 3D plasma home entertainment system, and all of their effort put on these 3D technologies, I'm really wanting to see what'll happen in the future!

Because of this major award, I'm sure this'll just motivate Panasonic to develop newer and more realist 3D technologies in their TVs!
